Dr.Sajeev Kumar

Dr.Sajeev Kumar was Professor in Department of Psychiatry at Kannur Medical College. He had more than 10 years of experience in mental health services.

Dr. Sajeev earned his medical degree MBBS at Government Medical College,Thrissur.(2000-2006)

He completed his postgraduate degree MD and residency in psychiatry at prestigious National Institute of Mental Health & Neurosciences, NIMHANS, Bangalore.(2008-2011)

Currently works as Consultant Psychiatrist at Aster MIMS Kannur, Specialty Hospital Thana Kannur, Tellichery Co Operative Hospital Koduvally Thalassery, Tely Medical Center.

He is a visiting consultant at Malabar Cancer Center Kodiyeri Thalassery to help cancer patients and their families.

He is the medical advisor to Kannur Dementia Care Society and organises public awareness program on dementia care.

He has published professional manuscripts in national and international psychiatry journals. He has 8 years experience of teaching MBBS and MD students also served as thesis guide for many psychiatry postgraduate trainees.
